Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks is the undisputed emperor of love books.  In the book, Safe Haven, the base of the novel is Katie, a youthful lady planning a clean start.  She moved to the small Southport in North Carolina.  She discovers a petite, comfortable bungalow to live in and she starts working as a waitress at the home cafeteria.  Southport is a calm southern township that goes well with Katie.  Her goal is to have a settled down life and to forget her past.
