The Wimpy Kid
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel is the seventh book of the series to be published and it is as much entertaining as all its other parts and does not fail to make the readers laugh and enjoy with the character of Greg Heffley who is in middle school now.The character of the “Mad Pantser” is also quite entertaining and a source of loads of funny moments in the book, some of which turn out to be quite embarrassing as well but are sure to make your funny bone tickle.
The story circulates around Greg and even shows some of the “memories” from his days in the womb. Greg’s recollections of his deadbeat uncle, the controversy caused in the school over a toiler paper, the turmoil he went through in order to get a date for the school dance and the embarrassing moments caused by the “Mad Panster” make the book much more hilarious and fun to read. Just like in the other Wimpy Kid books the errors in judgment made by Greg still keep the readers entertained as it leads to some of the most hilarious situations.

  1. The idea of the story just falls flat after the second half of the book. The first half is hilarious though. Especially the part revolving around Scotty Douglas, the hoarded bathroom facility and the student council.
