So what is the book Fifty shades of grey about ?
50 Shades of Grey is the first book of a trilogy showing just a few weeks of the relationship the two characters build up. It is an intense story and if you are a fan of such books then this is a must read for you. The author has written this piece brilliantly showing Anastasia whose love for Grey grows stronger even though knowing that he will never be able to reciprocate her love. Another plus for this book is the way the author shows the inner battle of the protagonist. Anastasia’s voice of desire that is her “inner goddess” wants to satisfy the sexual demands of the handsome Grey while her subconscious tries to put some sense into her. What is sure to catch the attention of the readers and make it interesting is the inner monologue and the conflicting emotions of the protagonist delivered brilliantly by the author.
This book mainly focuses on the sexual experience of Anastasia and the repetitions of lines and words like "My breathing hitched," or "Oh my" does get a little boring here and there but overall it is an excellent book for the people who prefer to have some romance in their lives. The way the author has written the characters makes it very much believable and that is probably one of the reasons of its success. This book is accessible to everyone as it can easily be downloaded and due to its popularity it grabbed the top spot on the New York Times’ bestsellers list.
